5 e 6 aprile - Los Angeles e Route 66

Oggi finalmente riesco a raccontarvi gli ultimi giorni.

Il 5 ero ancora a Los Angeles e le ragazze norvegesi hanno approfittato del fatto che facevo un paio di giri, per unirsi e farmi compagnia.
Siamo tornate sulla Mulholland Drive, che però non ha dato un gran che di panorama.
Di bello abbiamo visto sono le case, cioè, ville, che contornano la collina e poi anche questa pressoché sconosciuta scritta: ne avete mai sentito parlare? Ahahah!

Quindi siamo andate al Griffith Park, all'osservatorio! Bellissimo, davvero interessante. Il planetarium è organizzato molto molto bene!!! Felice di esserci andata! :-) anche perché......










........la vista di Los Angeles da qui era perfetta! Fossimo venute qui la sera prima (l'osservatorio è aperto fino alle 22!!!) avremmo risparmiato tempo e chilometri e benzina!!!! Soprattutto io, che facendo questo giro ho lasciato la città che erano quasi le quattro.....

......per dirigermi a Flagstaff e visitare il Grand Canyon!!!!
Prima di passare in Arizona ho avuto una sorpresa non calcolata: ho trovato l'inizio del tratto della Route 66. Lo so che inizia a Los Angeles, ma è stata tutta rifatta e rinominata, in questo punto invece inizia il tratto di strada immacolato!!!! E' stata un'emozione incredibile.....con la luna quasi piena, poi!!!! Una meraviglia guidare lì!!!!

Il giorno dopo è stata una sorpresa vedere paesaggi così diversi lungo il tragitto: da deserto a montagna tortuosa! E ci credo che piace ai motociclisti!!!

E ovviamente non sono mancate le case o le attività abbandonate......

...ma nemmeno le attività in piedi proprio grazie alla fama della ROUTE 66 :-)

Sono quindi arrivata a Flagstaff, ho fatto un giretto per il centro e poi mi sono avvicinata all'ingresso del Grand Canyon. E qui.....volto pagina.

Finally I'm able to update the blog!


The 5th I was still in Los Angeles and the girls took the occasion of my visits around town to come with me. At first we went along Molholland Drive again, but it didn't offered much in the day. The nice things we saw were the houses around the hill and the unknown sign "Hollywood" Did you ever heard about that?  Ahahahah!
Then we went to the Groggith Park, where the Observatory is: it was really nice, well orgnized, in particular the Planetarium, great explained, it was nice show! From the observatory the view was really wonderful, as you can see in the pictures.


I left the city around 4pm , Flagstaff direction, in order to go to the Grand Canyon.
When I wasn't in Arizona yet, I had a great surprise: I met the Route 66, where it starts the original part, so I drove through that :-) and it was great, in particular because of the moon that followed me!
The day after it was a new surprise seeing the different kind of panorama the route crosses: from desert to mountains: now I understand why riders like it so much!
abandoned houses or activities didn't missed out, but there are business that go on thanks to this road too!


So, I've reached Flagstaff, I saw the center of the town and then I went closer to the Grand Canyon entrance. And here I stop and.....see you in the next post.
